Why a marae is a special place to our community.
A marae is a special place because you have a lot of connections that
are related to you.So if you go to a marae for a tangi all the community
and your relations will come and support you and your whanau.In a
marae you have big celebrations and feeds.The one thing you need to
follow in a marae is the rules because it’s tapu if you wear shoes in a
marae or don’t even care about the words that they speak on the taumata.

Firstly why a marae is a special place to our community is that you share
a lot of stories around that talk about how you are related to your other
families.In marae’s you build an unbreakable bond with your other cousin’s
that you have never in your life seen before.That’s why a marae is so
important to the community. Another reason why a marae is so important
because if you didn’t have a home yet you could stay at a marae and you
can you’s it for all the others that don’t have homes.

Secondly why a marae is so important to our community because you
have some big celebrations in a marae and you get massive amount of feeds
for you and the whole whanau. You have a lot of celebrations in a marae you
have Birthday’s, Party’s and much much more. Another reason why a marae
is so important because you can invite the whole community to your birthday
and your school mates.

Lastly why a marae is so important to our community because you can learn
the rules in a marae. So if there was a tangi you have to wait at the gate for
someone to powhiri you into the marae because if you walk in there without
getting a powhiri first it will be very disrespectful and tapu.That’s why at every
marae you go to it will all be the same so don’t break the rules.

In conclusion I think a marae is so important to our community because
you have some good memories in a marae and have good celebrations
and you get to learn all the rules in a marae and that is very important.

This is my story about Building Tautoro School better then ever.

Planning space

My story is called building cool parks

Building Tautoro School better then ever
I will build new parks at tautoro school because the parks are very very old. So we can have fun and put big slides on the park and make the junior park bigger and better and put some tunnels in the parks and then they will be happy. And put some cameras around the school the school and ho ever bes a bully they will catch them on the camera and the will have to do lines. For the rest of the day and the person that was being a bully they will have to say sorry. And they will just carry on and make tautoro like a big hydroside for the senior park.                                

A pool to cool down the kids and there is a shello piece and a deep piece so that the people that dont no how to swim. They can go to the shello piece. Who's with me yes or no. Yes.

Then we will make a long dirt bike trail around the whole field and the whole school and make a skate bowl on the court for tim and all the people that like skate boarding. Then bust all the classrooms down and build new classrooms. Because the same classroom are still here from ages ago.

That will be cool if the teachers done all of that. Thank for all of you’s that said yes. The End.

Let's Take Them Home!

I think that we should bring home devices to school and use them in our learning environment. Are you with me?

 The first reason why I think we should take chromebooks home is because it will help us catch up on work and it will help us get our work finished on time.  When we take our chromebooks home normally they have to be payed off. But we think that if we take them home they will return back to school. Safe as bro! Plus we will be getting lots of work finished at home and be catching up a lot.

Another reason why I think we should be able to Take our chromebooks home is because if you miss a day because you're sick you can do your work at home. In other words When you're really sick your teacher can send your work and you can do it at home. So you can be on the right track.

In summary, I believe we should be able to take our chromebooks home my two main reasons are

It will help you catch up on your work. Added to this It will Motivate you. Who’s with me? LET'S TAKE THEM HOME!!

My next learning steps are:

Learn about emotive words and phrases and use them to make my argument better

Be able to use the correct for persuasive writing by myself (intro with opinion, main reasons and supporting detail, good connective and summary at the end)

Read my work to make sure it all makes sense.

Going to whangarei

On Friday after School  Sonny was at Tims and Shilaine had a sleepover at her dance. I stayed home. Then played  on my phone and I went inside the truck and mum and I went to get fish and chips.                                                                                                                                                            
Half an hour later we came back and put them on the table and got the sauce out and opened the chips and put the sauce on them and we ate them. A few minutes later I went  in my room and played my phone and then I got tired so I went to sleep

The next morning dad yelled “Get up it is time to go to whangarei” “yes” my eyes popped out of my face for joy I got up and went for a shower.I got out and done my hair and we went. We jumped in the truck and went. A few hours later we were there. I was as tired as the Dad and I waited in the truck for mum. To get the shopping. Dad put his chair back and I lay in the back to waiting for mum. It was hot as the sun  Dad woke up and mum was coming out  of the shop dad said “Run and tell mum we parked over here” so I ran as fast as a cheetah .


When I got to mum I said we parked over there. Mum put them in a cardboard and put them in the back. And we drove The cardboard box with all the food in it fell on me while we were driving owwww, I roared. Finally we were in kaikohe and we stopped in at Tims to pick Sonny  up and then we arrived home I jumped out of the truck and got the shopping and I had to get the shopping and bring them inside. Then I went in the room and went to sleep.

That was cool going to whangarei and when we were coming back from whangarei The cardboard box fell on me when I was a sleep I will never forget that day.
